Up until this point, you’ve seen the writers of this blog back various candidates for the Presidency of the United States of America. N8 and I support plucky newcomer Barack Obama. Y, along with his constant companions Walter and Donny, have thrown their weight behind Hillary. E refuses to stop supporting his controversial Jefferson Davis/Mike Huckabeee “dream ticket”. Well, all that infighting stops today. Today, we have found a true uniter, the one man who can bring real change to this fine country of ours. Given his roots as a New York flatfoot, he’s an opponent of the Beltway insiders. He’s consistently faced down terrorism, preventing the release from captivity of seven members of the New Provo Front, five imprisoned leaders of Liberte de Quebec, and all nine members of the Asian Dawn movement. Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for John McClane.
I’m voting for him because I think it’d be fun to grab a beer with him.

Reasons to worry about McClane in the general:
-Shaky foreign policy: “kill them”
-Would his family support him? Smells like Giuliani all over again
-Bad relationship with the police, may not get the endorsement
-Potty mouth
-The opening of Die Hard With a Vengeance is just asking for a “racist” swiftboating commercial
Also, as Live Free or Die Hard shows, he hits women. Granted, she was a ninja, but still. Y’know how that demographic gets, all moody when they’re on their period!
It’ll be even worse this election “cycle” after Annuale hits shelves. Look out:
