Nerds, the Internet, and a Political Strategy [politics]

By: Grimbil · July 18, 2008

The Internet has changed everything. I think we can all agree on this. This year is a banner year for changing politics, I can believe that. Not only can we now see every speech a politician gives, it’s now being utilized for organizing donations to campaigns. Of course, the campaigns of Clinton, McCain, and Obama are the most obvious, but what about smaller races? How have smaller candidates running at a local level harnessed the power of the Internet? Ladies and gentlemen, meet Sean Tevis.

Sean is running for a State Representative spot in Kansas and so far he’s got a pretty kick ass strategy for raising money.

I really hope this guy wins.

That’s awesome. Good for him. I may donate $8.34 later on.
