The Obama Wars, Part 2 [politics]

By: Y · November 10, 2008

EXTERIOR: NORTH CAROLINA — WASTELAND.

/The Straight Talk Express stops before what remains of a huge Media Event. Palin and McCain walk among the smoldering voting machines and scattered signs.

PALIN: It looks like Socialists did this, all right. Look, here are Tax Hikes, Regulation. It’s just…I never heard of them winning anything this big before.

MCCAIN: They didn’t. But we are meant to think they did. These policies are only liberal. Socialists always support collective ownership.

PALIN: These are the same Reporters that sold the Iraq War.

MCCAIN: And these policies, too broad for Socialists. Only Democrats are so precise.

PALIN: Why would Democrats want to trick the Reporters?

If the Democrats traced the Media here, they may have learned who the Media sells ideas to. And that would lead the Democrats to…voters!

/Palin reaches a sudden horrible realization, then races for the speeder and jumps it.

MCCAIN: Wait, Sarah! It’s too dangerous! Don’t speak to them!

/Palin arrives

PALIN: Katie Couric! Charlie Gibson! Brian Williams!

Question to the Star War fans of the GP (that would be all of you),

Was Senator McCain doubling as Senator Palpatine or was Leiberman in the movie credits?

Good Lord, McCain has let so many ridiculous pictures of himself get taken. He’s this neverending well of hilarity.
