One Year Anniversary

It’s 12:01AM, Nov. 18th, one year to the day since E and I started this blog. I’m pretty shocked, really. I really never, ever expected it to last this long. It’s been really fun, and thanks to all of you who make it an enjoyable distraction and a place for me to exercise my terrible blog-writing skills. That’s the last serious thing you’ll hear today, I’m pretty sure.

Having been a little busy (and largely non-domestic) the past three years, I’d never heard of Portal. That is, until I found myself in an apartment in Arizona with a group of people in their late twenties playing fake instruments at a much-too-expensive present-to-myself LCD television screen.
Rock Band introduced me to GLaDOS. And I’ll never be the same.
